New Contracts for California Residential Purchase Agreements

Today should be a lot of fun.  I'm reviewing changes to one of my most commonly used contracts:  the California Residential Purchase Agreement & Joint Escrow Instrucions, also known as RPA.

RPA is a standard form used in nearly every residential real estate transaction in California. This contract has not been significantly modified since 2002.  It's an 8 page contract, and I'm looking at a 6 page memo and redline of all the changes.

This newly updated contract will become the standard at the end of April, so I'm studying my little heart out to be ready when the time comes.
